Membership of the asssociation shall be granted to anyone
wishing to obtain such membership on receipt of a completed application form accompanied
by the appropriate subscription fee

Acceptance of membership shall constitute an agreement by the
applicant to accept and comply with all parts of the AAGB rules

The types of memberships of the association shall be
|
|
(i) Individual, which shall consist of Adult (16 years and over)
and Junior (under 16 years)
|
|
(ii) Family (any two or more members of a family)
|
|
(iii) Honorary, which may be granted to the Presidents and Vice
Presidents of the Association. This may be granted by the committee on the recommendation
of the secretary to members of similar organizations (usually including the Editor) who
will act as liason member between such organizations and the associations.

Membership subscriptions shall be reviewed at the AGM (Annual
General Meeting) each year. Any revisions of fees shall be operative from the 1st of
January the following year, unless implemented by a descision at the AGM.

Membership fees shall become payable from Jan. 1 each year. Any
member not renewing membership before the AGM shall be deemed lapsed, and the name of the
member shall be deleted from the mailing list of the Association. Should a lapsed member
decide to renew membership within one month of deletion, membership may be reinstated, at
the discretion of the Secretary, using the members original Association number. A reminder
published in Labyrinth or supplementary literature shall be deemed sufficient notice that
membership subscriptions are due.

An exception for rule 5 above shall be in the case of a member
who joins the Association in the latter half of the year and pays a subscription to cover
the remainder of the year and the subsequent year.

All overseas memberships (other than U.K.) shall require an
additional charge of 2 Pounds Sterling (£ 2.00) to assist with the costs of postage.
|
| 8. |
Membership of the Association may be terminated by a decision of
the Management Committee for non-compliance with the rules of the Association or conduct
deemed likely to bring the Association into disrepute.
